Thomas cooley law school admission?

Question: Thomas cooley law school admission?

(Posted by: Ryan K on 2009-06-30 16:28:43)

Okay, before all of you trash this school, I know it's tier 4 and doesn't exactly have the greatest reputation. Anyway I'll be graduating college with a not so great gpa/ undergrad record. LSDAS gpa is about a 2.6- 7ish. I haven't taken the LSAT yet, but I was just wondering what kind of score I'd need to get in. I read on their website that there average gpa is a 2.9. Do you think I could get, if so what kind of lsat would I need? Oh an no remarks about "do you really want to go to law school, " type questions please, I'm determined and asking a simple question.

Hi. I graduated from Thomas Cooley Law School in May 2005 and I passed the July 2005 Michigan Bar Exam. I really enjoyed my experience at Cooley. I was an average undergraduate student with only a 2.88 GPA and I scored a 144 on my LSAT and Cooley accepted me. You should visit Cooley's website to see what the current admissions requirements are. Here are a couple links: cooley.edu/ admissions/ applicants.html and cooley.edu/ admissions/ admformula.htm. I remember when I was applying to Cooley that the Admissions Office was very helpful; maybe you should email them to see if they can answer any questions you have. The email address is: admissions@cooley.edu.
